Collecting

Winning options pay out automatically with auto-collect, or with one tap on Collect. Both are gasless for payouts of $1 or more.

Two ways to get paid

Auto-collectCollect button
You signRight after buying in the appAfter the final price is set
Sent1 to 2 min after the price is finalFrom 1 min after the price is final
LaterNothing to doTap "Collect $X" in the app

Our relay sends both and pays the gas when the payout is $1 or more. The payout goes to your NEAR Intents balance.

Collecting returns your option to the contract for its payout. Auto-collect is that instruction signed in advance, valid until 7 days after the end. The relay holds it until the price is final, since sending it earlier would fail.

SituationResult
You win $1 or morePaid in USDC, at most what the cap pays
You win under $1Collect it from a NEAR wallet, which pays the gas; auto-collect skips it, and an EVM wallet can't collect it in the app
You loseNothing to do. The app shows "Ended $0"
You sold backThe relay drops your auto-collect
Options you didn't buy in the appNo auto-collect; use Collect
No auto-collect, never came backThe payout waits in the contract and doesn't expire

Relay limits

The relay only pays gas for an exercise of our own option tokens (1 to 10 per collect, each at least the minimum size) after the price is final, with a total payout of at least $1 (collect several positions together to reach it). Smaller payouts are collected from a NEAR wallet. Each signed instruction goes on-chain once, and each IP address gets 30 requests per minute.

If the transfer to your NEAR Intents balance fails, the amount is recorded as claimable in the contract. Anyone can retry it with withdraw_claimable, and it always goes to you, so an EVM wallet that can't sign NEAR transactions doesn't need to: ask us and we retry it for you. Payouts only come from the collateral locked for that market.
